Sarah MacEachern Joins LandVest's Concord Brokerage Team

Sarah MacEachern landvest concord LandVest is pleased to welcome Sarah MacEachern to our Concord, MA brokerage team. Her next chapter with us dovetails her background in planned giving and real estate. Here she explains why she chose LandVest:

Why LandVest? Why Now?

A successful real estate agent is a trusted advisor and a committed listener who helps individuals and families manage one of lifes big decisions.

My interest in real estate began when I was a charitable gift planner in the Harvard development office, where I worked with a family who donated a portion of its property to Harvard. This was a complex situation where the client owned a large parcel of land with both winter and summer homes on the coast of Maine, and the donors heirs were unable to maintain the large property and both homes.

I spent numerous hours walking the land with the client, listening and discussing options for the family to consider. I advised the donor to give an undivided partial interest in the property to a charitable remainder trust that would pay an income to the donor for his lifetime and ultimately the remainder would establish a scholarship in the name of the family. As a result, the family was able to enjoy the remaining property and receive an income for the donors lifetime while making a substantial gift to Harvard. What was most relevant for me during this process was how much I enjoyed being of service to the family and helping them define a strategic plan to make a critical decision. This experience is what inspired me to focus on selling real estate and conservation planning.

I have lived in Concord, MA and the surrounding area for my entire life and love it! Having raised my family in Concord over the past 25 years, Im eager to educate prospective buyers on the community, the schools, the shops and the history this area offers. I am excited to help you with a life decision. I enjoy helping people find the right property for their needs.

At LandVest, we work as a team with our clients, partnering to deliver estate valuation and conservation planning, as well as to provide services for the purchase and sale of complex real estate assets. Our role is to listen, to communicate, to problem solve, to keep the process moving, and to bring value to the sale.
