Congratulating Lanse Robb - North Shore's Top Producing Broker

It happens every year, but we never get tired of saying it: Lanse Robb is, once again, the overall top-ranked broker in Essex County for residential sales above $1,000,000. Despite unprecedented challenges, Lanse and Sophie Soman finished out 2020 with over $40 million in sales. With these latest figures, Lanses total sales in residential real estate over his nearly 30-year career at LandVest now exceeds $776,000,000 (per MLS).

For more than a decade, Lanse has been the overall top-ranked broker in all of Essex County.

Lanse and Sophie have seen repeat clients and referrals contribute to their impressive record. They use those familiar faces as a measure of their success.

Our clients keep coming back, said Lanse. This year, weve sold properties for our clients parents and children. Were proud to be #1, but it gives us added satisfaction to know we are being recommended generationally as a trusted advisor.

Sales in 2020

With privacy and space key drivers, the North Shore was a natural and compelling destination for buyers from the Greater Boston area and beyond. From move-in ready waterfront homes to significant acreage for building a dream property, there were plenty of opportunities for buyers to explore. A few highlights from 2020 include:

  • Two waterfront residences on the private Smiths Point in Manchester-by-the Sea
  • An oceanfront compound in Gloucester
  • Over 20 acres in Topsfield

Sellers turn to Lanse because they know they are entrusting their real estate asset with proven experience and the highest level of service.

We knew the LandVest reputation for adept and professional handling in the sales of homes that needed individually-tailored marketing, and Sophie and Lanse did not disappoint, said Michael LaBrie, whose Marblehead home sold last year. From our very first meeting to the service level after the sale, we were very well taken care of. They seemed to understand the market well and were able to price and advise for success. We felt very well cared for every step of the way.

Looking Ahead to 2021

The 2021 market will continue to be strong and available listings for the North Shore should again be at a premium, said Lanse. Interest rates look to remain at record low levels, which continue to fuel the high level of activity. As the vaccine rollout moves forward, buyers will ease their need to flee urban environments, but it is unlikely we will return to a pre-Covid urban lifestyle for some time.

While 2020 saw records set across the North Shore, there are still options for buyers seeking peace and quiet, a connection to the ocean, equestrian properties, historic homes, and so much more. Explore more of Lanse and Sophies current listings here.
