In the second part of our Golfers Dream Home series, lets look at homes near top golf courses and country clubs. Country and golf clubs often foster great communities you dont want to miss out on anything by living far away.

In Rockport, Maine, Nimaha, Lyndonwood, and The Community House are all just minutes from Megunticook Golf Club. The club was founded in 1899 and its buildings and grounds are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Birch Tree Farm, and High Riding are both close to Woodstock Country Club, which has been ranked as one of Golf Magazines top 100 golf resorts in the world and as number three in New England by Golf Advisor.

Living near a states top course can certainly be a perk. In Vermont, West Fields is only a mile and a half from the Ekwanok Country Club, Golf Digests top choice for the Green Mountain State. If youre looking for a course with history, Danby Hill Farm is close to Dorest Field Club, the oldest continuously operated golf course in the country.

Bring the whole family to Amherst Country Club, which also offers a family golf center, when you live just down the road at Spalding Common Farm.
After youre done playing a round at the Concord Country Club, stop in at the newly renovated club house for a bite to eat before the short drive home to 892 Gould Hill Road.

Just outside Boston, homes in Concord and Weston have many options for premier golfing. At 1266 Monument Street both Nashawtuc Country Club and Concord Country Club are near. Over at 265 Country Drive, Pine Brook Country Club and the Weston Golf Club are top destinations for golfers.

In Southbridge, directly adjacent to the Cohasse Country Club, the Wells Estate is the perfect opportunity for a year-round home, summer retreat, bed and breakfast, or a retreat center. Anyone is sure to enjoy this 9-hole course designed by Donald Ross in 1916.
Both Wenham Country Club and nearby Copper Beech Hill have been calling the North Shore home for over 100 years.
