Great PR for Great New England Properties, LandVest Style

Everyone loves a great story. When its about a beautiful place, an engaging history, or a happy ending, even better.

Great New England Properties - Ipswich, MAThe global press come to LandVest looking for the inside story on our listings. We balance the clients privacy with the importance of reaching a global audience of buyers.

One recent sale had all the components: big (597+/- acres), beautiful (one of the few very large saltwater farm estates remaining in the Northeast), and a happy ending (the family and buyers committed to the stewardship of the property).

The 597 acre estate in Ipswich got a massive media blitz. And it was a great story - LandVests Real Estate Consulting team worked for decades with the family trustees to plan the best strategy for a future sale of the estate. The property was unique, complex and as with most family owned estates, it was critical to engage all parties in a common direction. Jim Monahan, the lead project consultant, worked with the multiple owners and trustees to understand their options, including advising on valuation, approvals , due diligence, conservation and tax planning issues, as well as providing a disposition strategy for achieving a record-setting sale. Notably, a key portion of the property was sold to The Trustees of Reservations for permanent conservation as part of the Crane Estate. Lanse Robb, LandVests lead North Shore broker, then generated a buyer with interests in conservation for the remaining two parcels, resulting in a record sale for Ipswich real estate, and a win for the sellers, the buyers, the community, and the natural environment. Back to the media blitz. News traveled fast: Shortly after this sale, LandVest began seeing higher-than-normal interest in North Shore, MA real estate. As properties went under agreement (See Lanse Robb's recent activity below), more interest followed suit.

As of last week, over 2,073 media outlets read our press release. The press release led to over 177 media pick-ups including newspaper and online mentions, as well as two TV interviews with WCVBs Channel 5 (see details below). Lanse Robb was interviewed by the Salem Evening News, and the Wall Street Journal featured LandVests premier listings on the North Shore in their Real Estate special section.

The high end this year (property sales above $2,000,000) has risen by 70 % since 2016.
