Glenmorgan in South Woodstock, VT is like stepping into a bygone era. One can only imagine the grand gatherings of yesteryear.. As the current owner said, I was trying to imagine the owners in the past. The place has a real presence. Its not formal, but it does have a feeling of provenance. It is very much a Vermont property and a farm, and feels welcoming too.

As for the Eastman Hill Stock Farm in Lovell, ME, this iconic Gentlemans Farm was indeed once a stock farm raising award-winning cattle and horses. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and with conservations in place, the buildings and surroundings are meticulously kept and reflect the days of yore.
