Summertime is in full swing in South Woodstock, Vermont. Its lunchtime, and the cars are lined up in front of the South Woodstock Country Store. With three of them, its busy - meaning the friendly staff has to look up from the other sandwich they are making to say hi! Walk up the hill and at the end of the road is Fieldstone.

Wander through the meadows, and enjoy a swim or a paddle on the pond. Relax on the porch and take in the views. With no cars and only the occasional horse clopping by, the road to Fieldstone is a quiet and tranquil one.

Our next stop is Sunnyside.

A classic brick Federal, Sunnyside is at the end of a long private drive on a quiet back road near the village. There is plenty of room for family and friends in this elegant home.

Car collectors will love the freestanding garage. Everyone loves the meadows fading into birch forest and distant mountain views. And the total quiet.

Our last South Woodstock stop today is Birch Tree Farm.
