Best "Secret" New England Towns for Fall

There is nothing like fall in New England; the weather, the fairs, and of course, the foliage. There are the big cities and towns that tourists tend to flock to during this time of year, but there are many other New England gems that are beautiful in the fall. Recently, Smarter Travel released their list of 8 Secret New England Towns Perfect for Fall, and while we agree with their suggestions, we also have our own favorites to add to the list.

Rockport, MA

Rockport is well known for its multitude of summer activities; however, this seaside town should not be missed in the fall! In October, locals look forward to the annual Rockport HarvestFest.

Little Compton, RI

The charming town of Little Compton is wonderful place to spend a crisp fall day exploring the town commons or strolling along Goosewing Beach. Experience the local flavor picking apples at Peckhams Greenhouse, wine tasting at the Sakonnet Vineyards, or cooking up dinner with produce from one of the many local farm stands.
