North Shore Magazine Names Two of Our Favorite Places "Top Spots to Live"

We couldn't agree more with North Shore Magazine's Top Spots to Live (pages 100-109) - two of our very favorite neighborhoods are Ipswich's East End and Downtown Beverly! We have recent proof that we are not alone in our thinking and that buyers coming to the North Shore concur. Two properties we recently listed at 21 Turkey Shore Road in Ipswich's East End and 50 Stone Street in Downtown Beverly went under agreement in days with multiple offers and sold well over asking price.

What brought so many buyers to these listings? Heres what were seeing: buyers are looking outside the city for more living space and private outdoor space but want to remain in semi-urban communities without sacrificing being able to walk to towns, playgrounds, schools, restaurants, and more. Easy access to the city and commuter lines remains important, as does being close to the water, or having water access. A balanced lifestyle is a must.

Downtown Creativity

According to NS Magazine, Downtown Beverly offers a neighborhood (that) feels youthful, vibrant, and diverse.... Downtown Beverly also feels creative, not only in the artistic sense although there is plenty of that but also as a place that is constantly growing, changing and pushing itself to improve and expand.

A Town with Character

Ipswich isnt really a tourist town...Its a town where people live, Gordon Harris, town historian and chairman of the Ipswich Historical Commission, says in the NS Magazine article. Harris also says its a creative community with lots of artists and photographers. Youre in a place where people really have a sense of belonging.

Not far from downtown and situated along the river, The East End was traditionally kind of a working-class area for those employed in the maritime industryBut unlike Ipswichs downtown, its a little off the beaten path. It doesnt have a highway running through it...the East End is really the calmest and most easygoing part of Ipswich.

Ready to Make the Move?

PENDING: 56 Bartlett St, Beverly

If you want to be part of the downtown Beverly scene check out our listing at 56 Bartlett Street - it is currently configured as a two-family home and is a great investment opportunity, or it could be returned to a single-family home if you prefer...Looking elsewhere? We represent buyers and sellers all across the North Shore. Call us!
