Excellent Schools: New Jersey is the tenth largest public school system in the United States, serving 577 municipalities in nearly 2,600 public schools. Together with public and private partners, Green Acres has protected over half a million acres of open space and provided hundreds of outdoor recreational facilities in communities around the state.

Proximity to New York City: Many communities in New Jersey are less than an hour from Manhattan via interstate, trains, buses or ferries. Residents are also close enough to New York City to enjoy live performances, museums, cultural events, world-class shopping and exceptional restaurants.
