Where is Your Favorite Place to Enjoy the 4th of July Fireworks?

It has been almost 40 years since the first firework exploded over the Charles River on our nations birthday, but the atmosphere and excitement will live on forever. Even if you cant make it into Boston, there are quite a few hidden gems scattered across the Bay State and Rhode Island to make your 4th of July night just as memorable.

Cape Cod offers spectacular fireworks in Falmouth. Voted as one of the 10 best firework displays in Travel and Leisure Magazine, the fireworks commence at dusk on Falmouth Heights Beach. To see more of what this town has to offer, check out LandVest properties in the Falmouth/Woods Hole Area.

About 20 miles north of Boston is Beverly Farms, where they pride themselves on their 4th of July activities. The day starts off with the annual Beverly Farms Parade. Activities such as softball games, races and live entertainment grace the area until about 8:45 P.M. At this time, on West Beach, there is a flare dedication and shore illumination. This entices the audience until a fantastic aerial firework display closes out the night. To see more of what this town has to offer, check out LandVest's Beverly listings.

On the South Shore, Duxbury has a 4 day event leading up to a spectacular fire work show. The town hosts a beach party with live music. As you enjoy the beach under the stars, you will also be able to enjoy the massive bonfire that is made especially for this event. The festivities continue up until the firework display on July 4th over Duxbury Bay. To see more of what this town has to offer, check out LandVest's Duxbury listings.

Newport, Rhode Island is known for their wondrous mansions and beautiful summers. They are also the host of fantastic 4th of July festivities. Newport News Parks, Recreation & Tourism will celebrate the July 4th holiday with their 4th of July Stars in the Sky party at Landing Park. To start off the night, free children rides, such as bouncy houses and giant slides, will be opened and ice cream will be given out. The activities will continue until 9:30, when the beautiful firework display will commence over the James River. To see more of what this town has to offer, check out LandVest's listings in Newport.

Happy 4th of July from all of us here at LandVest!
