Originally from the Boston area, Tim’s connection to Vermont spans generations, with family ties reaching back to the 18th and 19th centuries. Tim was educated at Phillips Exeter Academy and Hamilton College, where he studied American Architectural History, before earning an MBA in Finance from Babson College. He spent many years abroad in Russia as an award-winning Investor Relations Officer for large publicly traded companies, working closely with leading global asset managers including Fidelity, BlackRock, T. Rowe Price, and Dodge & Cox. That experience informs his disciplined approach to valuation, risk, and long-term ownership decisions—particularly important for families thinking beyond a single transaction. His personal connection to Dorset began in the early 1990s, where his great-granduncle built a family home in Dorset Hollow in 1925. Tim was married in Dorset in 1998, celebrated with family and friends in Woodstock, and moved to Dorset full-time in 2022. He is an active member of the Dorset Field Club, serves as Commissioner of the Men’s Paddle Tennis and Golf Leagues, and is Treasurer of Maple Hill Cemetery, reflecting a deep commitment to community and continuity.
