Forest Certification

LandVest’s Forest Resources Division is certified to the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) (FSC®C120428) Forest Management and Chain of Custody Standards under the Group Manager option.

LandVest and our FSC Group members are committed to managing forests in accordance with the terms of the current Forest Stewardship Council’s US Forest Management Standard, including a commitment to compliance with the FSC Forest Management Principles and Criteria.

LandVest’s Forest Resources Division is certified to the Sustainable Forestry Initiative® (SFI®) Forest Management as a Group Manager and the Chain of Custody Standards.

LandVest and our SFI Group members are committed to managing forests in accordance with the terms of the current SFI Standards and Rules, including a commitment to compliance with the Sustainable Forest Initiative Forest Management Standard Objectives and Performance Measures.

Accepted as a standard for easement forest management plan requirements and regulatory compliance in some situations

Satisfies carbon program requirements

Through chain-of-custody, fiber from certified forestland can be identified throughout the supply chain, thus enabling the end-product to receive the checkmark logo for the applicable certification scheme. This informs customers that the product came from a certified forest and was manufactured responsibly.
