Matt has spent the past two years working full-time with LandVest in Keene Valley, NY, building on several years of advisory and consulting experience alongside Vinny McClelland. During this time, he has developed a strong reputation for thoughtful guidance, deep knowledge of the Adirondack real estate market, and a refined ability to connect discerning buyers with some of the region’s most distinctive luxury properties.

Before transitioning fully into luxury real estate in the Adirondacks, Matt enjoyed a successful career as an educator and school leader at independent schools throughout New England and New York. He most recently served as Director of School at North Country School in Lake Placid. His background in leadership, communication, and negotiation translates seamlessly into representing clients in complex real estate transactions, from waterfront estates to legacy mountain properties.

In addition to his work as a real estate advisor, Matt serves as Vice President of the Adirondack Landowners’ Association. In this role, he collaborates with large landowners and regional stakeholders on key issues including conservation, land stewardship, and responsible access—further strengthening his expertise in Adirondack land and estate properties.

Matt’s roots in the Adirondacks run deep. With a long family history in the region and an active role in the local community, he offers clients a rare combination of market insight and lifestyle understanding. His knowledge of the High Peaks region, combined with his professional experience, makes him an invaluable partner for those looking to buy or sell luxury real estate in the Adirondacks.
