Lorie Dana

Lorie grew up in Kennebunk with a love and appreciation for the coast of Maine. She moved to Boston to work at Hunneman Commercial Real Estate Brokers in the late 80's. She returned to Maine and chose to settle in Portland where she transitioned into the hospitality and customer service industry. Lorie grew up in Kennebunk with a love and appreciation for the coast of Maine. She moved to Boston to work at Hunneman Commercial Real Estate Brokers in the late 80's. She returned to Maine and chose to settle in Portland where she transitioned into the hospitality and customer service industry. She got involved with a newly opened Mediterranean seafood restaurant named Street & Co and worked as the General Manager for six years while helping to hire and train staff at the group's second restaurant, Fore Street.

Upon meeting her entrepreneurial husband, Tod, she left Street & Co and began partnering with him on many projects including three restaurants, two retail/wholesale companies and her favorite, the purchase and renovation of their historic townhouse in downtown Portland along with several rental properties. Lorie is passionate about renovating, decorating, and staging properties.

Lorie has also been committed to improving her community. Her volunteer efforts have centered around children and education. She has been an avid supporter of the Portland Public Schools, she was a volunteer for many years at the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Portland, served on the board of Scholarships for Maine Immigrants (SMI), was a Director and Vice President of the Foundation For Portland Public Schools (FFPPS) and has just joined their Advisory Board.

In her free time, Lorie enjoys spending time with her two adult children, gardening, boating, hiking, skiing, traveling, and their hound dog, Lucky.

Lorie is excited to share her knowledge of Greater Portland with her clients while working hard to assist them with their real estate needs.
