He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point with a degree in Forest Administration and Utilization. From 2011 to 2023 he owned and operated his own forestry consulting business in central Wisconsin, providing forestry management services to private landowners. He and his family call Stevens Point in central Wisconsin home and enjoy the multitude of activities it has to offer.
