A native of Maine, Karen has been a licensed real estate broker since 1986 and joined LandVest in 1996. Karen has been one of the state’s top producing real estate brokers with a focus on distinctive and coastal properties from the Mid-coast to Southern Maine and the Lakes Region Area including Sebago and Long Lakes. She focuses on delivering exceptional results for select high end properties rather than volume of sales.

Experienced in land use, including development, conservation and deed restrictions, and complex properties involving environmental issues and multi-generational ownership, she is an expert working with families and fiduciaries with high expectations of outcome and service. Having worked as a local broker/ manager prior to joining LandVest, she understands how to add value to distinctive properties not often accomplished by local, high volume brokers.

Karen lives with her husband Ford and their two dogs in Cumberland. They have three grown children. In her free time she enjoys sailing, cycling and gardening. She loves architecture and design and has restored several older homes, incorporating salvage and antique materials.
