Joe is responsible for the sales and marketing of timber products. His duties include negotiating prices, hiring loggers, managing log yards, and assisting foresters. A native of New Hampshire’s north country, he acquired his interest in forestry from his father, who also works in the industry as a logger.  Joe has been with LandVest for 15 years and enjoys the diversity of tasks and the flexibility to get them accomplished. Prior to working at LandVest he was a forester for Upland Forestry in Stewartstown, a scaler for Stanley International in Stratford, and worked for Timber Resource Group in Lancaster. Joe earned an associate degree in forest technology from Paul Smith’s College in 1997 and is also a Vermont licensed forester. His favorite tree species is sugar maple, and he spends his free time managing his 3500-tap commercial sugaring operation.
