Eugene is responsible for the leadership and oversight of the Maine Region Timberland operations, which includes the management of over 1 million acres in 3 different geographic areas of the state: Northwestern/Allagash River, Jackman/Moosehead Lake, and Downeast regions. Forest Resources Manager - Bangor, Maine  

Eugene is responsible for the leadership and oversight of the Maine Region Timberland operations, which includes the management of over 1 million acres in 3 different geographic areas of the state: Northwestern/Allagash River, Jackman/Moosehead Lake, and Downeast regions. His duties include forest inventory projects and support of the timberland transaction group throughout Maine. Prior to coming to LandVest Eugene worked as a forester for Willard S. Hanington & Son, a project forester for S D Warren & Sappi, and a resource forester and resource supervisor for Plum Creek. Eugene holds an MBA from Thomas College and a bachelor’s degree in forest engineering from the University of Maine. He is a licensed forester in Maine and New Hampshire as well as a Maine Licensed Wood Scaler. Eugene is also the past Chair of the Advisory Committee of the Cooperative Forestry Research Unit, a member of the Board of Directors for the Maine Forest Products Council, past Chair of the Sportsman’s/Forest Landowner Alliance, Chair of the Maine SFI Implementation Committee, a member of Keeping Maine’s Forests, and past President of the Board of Directors for North Maine Woods. Additionally, Eugene is a member of the Association of Consulting Foresters, Society of American Foresters, and Maine Forest Products Council. In his free time Eugene enjoys hunting, fishing, and other outdoor activities.
