New Forests has retained LandVest, Inc. as its advisor on the disposition of 5,507+ acres of timberland in Jackson County, Oregon (“Applegate”). These timberlands will be offered in three separate blocks through a single-stage, sealed bid process. Bids will be invited on any or all blocks.

The Applegate property is professionally managed as industrial timberland with a species mix well suited for sale into the Oregon markets in Medford, White City, and Klamath Falls, and the mills located in Northern California. The Applegate timberlands inventory demonstrates a respectable average stocking level of 6.0 MBF/Net Acre

With a healthy mix of merchantable and plantation stands, Applegate represents a stand-alone investment opportunity that can provide both short-term and longer-term value growth. The smaller, individual blocks offer investors a unique opportunity to strategically add to existing landholdings, creatively capitalize on higher and better use alternatives, and/or diversify investment portfolios at an overall lower price of entry.

This offering is being managed as a single-stage bid event. Prospective bidders are invited to participate by returning the confidentiality agreement, available in Property Documents below. Upon receipt of the fully executed confidentiality agreement, bidders will be invited to access the project virtual data room. The Applegate data room contains current timber inventories, map packages, GIS shapefiles, tax and lease information, and a confidential information memorandum, along with other pertinent material. The data room is now open, and bids are due on October 23, 2025.
