We were more than satisfied with the entire process of selling our summer cottage in Keene Valley, which had been in our family since about 1880. We were introduced to Matt Smith by our son Alex, when we began thinking about the sale. Throughout the process, Matt was gentle, helpful, and encouraging. We never felt pressured or hustled. In the end, the house was sold at about the amount we had expected, to the first family to see it. Furthermore, once the sale was completed, he helped us get the house cleaned and acted as a helpful contact with the buying family. We are thankful for his help, and would recommend him to anyone wishing to buy or sell in the area.

Even if your home is beautifully appointed, Claire Mahoney will certainly make it appear more so in photography and videography. With her finger on the pulse of the real estate market and her eye for stunning composition, Claire can truly elevate your home and property.
And like the magician she is, when your house is under contract, Claire will help you disappear its contents, knowing the best auctioneer, art shipper and mover. She is supremely organized.

In 1997, we purchased an abandoned 1905 landmark building originally built for the Plymouth town water department. We spent years on this extensive adaptive reuse—rehabbing every inch, restoring its character, and transforming it into a home for Shields Design Studio and a community of talented fine artists. It was a true diamond in the rough, and one we loved deeply.
Selling the Plimoth WaterWorks Building was a bittersweet milestone for us. It’s a place we restored, lived with, and cherished for decades, and entrusting it to someone else was no small thing. Gretchen Almy and Dave Killen of LandVest honored that significance from the very beginning.
