Red River Timberlands

On behalf of Domain Timber Advisors, LandVest is pleased to offer Red River Timberlands, an outstanding collection of southern pine plantations located in Northeast Texas. Totaling 10,857+-acres, these plantations are situated within the highly productive alluvial plains of the Red River, a well-known center of agricultural production. In total, approximately 81% of the total acreage is enrolled in pine plantation with a balanced distribution of age classes averaging 13.3 years old.

Situated in the reliable timber markets of Northeast Texas (and Southeast Oklahoma), Red River is an excellent acquisition opportunity for investors already established in the region as well as those looking to make their initial placement; it’s turn-key with a new timber inventory and excellent managers. Considerable silvicultural investment into the property has yielded well stocked plantations (73 pine tons per merchantable acre) and an overall site index approaching 70 feet (base-age 25). The property has excellent access, and well-maintained internal road systems.

Red River Timberlands are being offered for sale through a single-stage, sealed bid sale process. The data room is now open with bids due mid to late July.
