Clairmont Springs Timberlands

LandVest has been retained by Hancock Natural Resource Group as transaction manager for the sale of the Clairmont Timberlands located in central Alabama. Totaling 35,247± acres, these outstanding tree farms represent a well-balanced and well-stocked collection of southern pine plantations located in some of the most robust (and expanding) forest products markets in the Southeast. Approximately 78% of Clairmont is enrolled in fast-growing Loblolly pine plantation. Approximately 18,000 acres of merchantable plantation averages an impressive 80 tons per acre of forest products. Formerly Kimberly Clark, these plantations have been managed for decades as high-yield pulp and sawlog forest through intensive silviculture investment in site preparation, mid-rotation fertilization releases and chemical site control. Clairmont Timberlands are certified under the Sustainable Forestry Initiative.
