From the moment I contacted Gretchen about a property I was interested in, and asked if she would be willing to help me, she immediately jumped in to action. Within hours, I had detailed information on the property; a scheduled appointment to do a private walkthrough; and market research & analysis on comparable properties. We were off and running.
From that point forward, Gretchen was attentive, available, and willing to walk me through the step-by-step process of purchasing a new condo. Not to mention, because of my initial delay in contacting Gretchen, we made the low percentage decision to submit a backup offer (my target property had already received an accepted offer). But persistence (and a little luck) paid off; our backup offer was eventually accepted. I got the condo.
I couldn’t have done it without Gretchen’s help. She is a true professional. Gretchen was always willing to find the time within her busy schedule and work around my crazy schedule to make sure I was comfortable and prepared to complete the purchase.

In 1997, we purchased an abandoned 1905 landmark building originally built for the Plymouth town water department. We spent years on this extensive adaptive reuse—rehabbing every inch, restoring its character, and transforming it into a home for Shields Design Studio and a community of talented fine artists. It was a true diamond in the rough, and one we loved deeply.
Selling the Plimoth WaterWorks Building was a bittersweet milestone for us. It’s a place we restored, lived with, and cherished for decades, and entrusting it to someone else was no small thing. Gretchen Almy and Dave Killen of LandVest honored that significance from the very beginning.

Gretchen was an over the top excellent realtor for us.
